نداء من رئيسي مصر وجنوب السودان للوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار في السودان

الرئيس السيسي والرئيس سيلفا كير يناشدان الأطراف السودانية بتغليب صوت الحكمة والحوار السلمي وإعلاء المصلحة العليا للشعب السوداني مصر وجنوب السودان يعربان عن استعدادهما للقيام بدور الوساطة بين الأطراف السودانية

تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس "سلفا كير"، رئيس جمهورية جنوب السودان. 

وصرح المستشار أحمد فهمي، المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية، بأن الاتصال تناول التباحث حول مستجدات الأوضاع الأخيرة في السودان، في ضوء الروابط التاريخية والعلاقات الأخوية المتميزة بين الدول الثلاث، ودور مصر وجنوب السودان في دعم استقرار وسلامة السودان. وفي ذلك السياق، أكد الرئيسان خطورة الأوضاع الحالية والاشتباكات العسكرية الجارية، مؤكدين كامل الدعم للشعب السوداني الشقيق في تطلعاته نحو تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار والسلام.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن الرئيسين وجها نداءً للوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار في السودان، مناشدين الأطراف كافة بالتهدئة، وتغليب صوت الحكمة والحوار السلمي، وإعلاء المصلحة العليا للشعب السوداني. كما أعرب الرئيسان عن استعداد مصر وجنوب السودان للقيام بالوساطة بين الأطراف السودانية، حيث أن تصاعد العنف لن يؤدي سوى إلى مزيد من تدهور الوضع، بما قد يخرج به عن السيطرة، مؤكدين أن ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار، هو الركيزة الضامنة لاستكمال المسار الانتقالي السياسي، وتحقيق البناء والتنمية في السودان.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmad Fahmy, said the call focused on the latest developments in Sudan, in light of the historical bonds and outstanding fraternal relations between the three countries, as well as the role of Egypt and South Sudan in supporting Sudan’s stability and safety. The two Presidents underscored the gravity of the current situation and the ongoing military clashes, reiterating full support for the brotherly Sudanese people and their aspirations for achieving security, stability and peace.

President El-Sisi and President Kiir called for an immediate cease-fire in Sudan, urging all parties to calm down, let the voice of wisdom and peaceful dialogue prevail, and uphold the supreme interest of the Sudanese people. They expressed Egypt and South Sudan’s readiness to mediate between the Sudanese parties, as the escalation of violence will only lead to more deterioration of the situation, which could spiral out of control. The two Presidents emphasized that solidifying security and stability is the key guarantor for completing the trajectory of political transition and realizing construction and development in Sudan.
